Wingfoil clinics
We run a range of clinics at varying times, check the info and links below for details.
Introduction to Gybing (3hrs)
Cost £35.00 (£45 non members)
Max 6 participants.
11am-3pm
This 3hr session (with break) is an Introduction to Wingfoil Gybing.
Gybing on a wingfoil is a critical manoeuvre, it's the difference between going out and back without falling and being able to stay on foil.
If you are just starting to go for gybes or have been trying them for a while this advanced clinic is for you.
This session will step through how to learn to gybe. Giving you a progressive step by step approach to match your progress at any point during your learning curve.
Who is this for:
To make the most out of this session you should be able to foil across the reservoir confidently and be able to stay upwind. The session will be taught on your equipment.
Although some of the session is taught from a rib it will mostly be from an anchored position, rather than being available to ferry foilers upwind.
How will it work:
The session will be taught with up to 6 participants, it will involve some teaching from a rib, with a designated sailing / gybing area, video analysis and feedback and on water instruction.
After some instruction there will be a free sailing session with video recording, then a break / video review / instruction followed by on water instruction.
If you book for a Saturday please keep Sunday free as we may well reschedule if the forecast does not look promising for Saturday.
We will confirm the session is definitely running 48hrs beforehand. At that point we will send a payment link.

Improve your wingfoiling (3hrs)
After that first exhilarating , but short lived flight, you've got the bug. But how do you go from that to the smooth effortless, sustained gliding you see on your insta feed?
This lesson takes you from that first feeling, though to longer smoother flights, over a 3hr session. We cover, generating board speed, smooth take offs, maintaining your balance, and controlled landings, along with steering and getting upwind on foil.
The RYA also recommends 8-10 hours of instruction to learn sustained flights, so you may want to come back to extend this lesson.
