Get On The Water
Lots of people enquire about how they can get on the water at Cheddar reservoir. Here's how it works
If you already sail/windsurf/SUP and have your own craft, you are welcome to come along and sign in as a day member for a maximum of three times. This costs £10 for you and your craft; plus £1 per additional person.
Day members can only use the water when the club has safety crew on duty - in the winter this is Saturday and Sunday; and in the summer (British Summer Time) weekends and Wednesday evenings.
When you arrive with your craft it MUST BE JET WASHED before going in the water using the club's facilities, to avoid any invasive species contamination. (this includes washing the trolley if your craft has one)
You need to ask a member/Officer of the Day to sign you in and you must pay your fee before going on the water. Everybody on the water must wear a buoyancy aid and suitable clothing for the weather conditions, and adhere to the Officer of the Day's requirements.
