Sea Cadets

Cheddar Host Unit Boat Station (HUBS) is a joint partnership between five local Sea Cadet Units reaching up to 400 young people, 100 adult volunteers and their families.

It is one of the largest concentrations of afloat training resources outside of National Sea Cadet Training Centres in the UK with access to sailing dinghies, windsurf boards and rigs and a variety of paddlesports equipment including kayaks, canoes and Stand-Up Paddleboards.

The HUBS has a team of experienced RYA Senior Instructors able to supervise dinghy sailing and windsurfing, RYA Safety Boat drivers and British Canoeing Instructors and Coaches.

Cheddar HUBS is managed by BCYC GB Member Callum Seggie. Email me here: cheddarhub@excaliburscc.co.uk
