Ten boats turned up for a two day event with sun and wind forecast for saturday and a light and shifty northerly for sunday
The fleet voted for as much racing as possible on Saturday and a total of eight races were completed in 16 - 20 knot Westerly.
A trapezoid course completed in eight minutes a lap proved challenging and exciting sailing - with reaches at marginal kite flying angles and steady sea breeze - plus solid sunshine all day made for an excellent first day.
Quick turnaround with the last boat to cross the line being the one minute to the next start proved popular both with the competitors and the race team who worked hard to make sure the angles of the trapezoid kept working all afternoon.
Sunday dawned with a flat calm leading to a gentle northerly that flicked and fought the sea breeze before an AP over A at 12:30 sent everyone ashore.
Congratulations to the competitors - great fun to have the teams at BCYC - looking forward to more events in the future.
