Club Sailing Coach available to club members

This is for Sailing Members- not beginners. It is expected that you can sail a triangle but would like help with any aspect of your sailing.

The aim is to help confidence to get on the water, fill the gap between Passing RYA level 2 and Starting Racing.

Under 18s can attend but a parent must be present.

Please arrive for 12:30 discussion by the group on what areas to focus on - as individuals and as a group

Followed by Rigging and Launching

The coach will have Launched a RIB for on water activity - but this not a safety boat, the club duty crews are in attendance

The Coach can help members Rig Boats (their Own or one they have already hired via boats@bcyc.org.uk )

you will not be expected to assess competency and hire boats - done elsewhere

BCYC genuinely have no idea what the take-up will be - but these are NOT free lessons, its an attempt by the club to offer something to the members and improve the numbers racing.
