BCYC Windsurfing Taster Session (3 Hour)

Windsurfing Taster Session

A three hour Windsurfing taster session for novices or as a refresher for those returning to windsurfing.

The course takes place using club windsurfers that can be hired by members.

Qualified RYA Instructors; RYA registered centre.

(Note - It's aimed at adults and teens but can be tailored to a younger group. Please contact windsurfing@bcyc.org.uk for more infomation)

What Do I Need to Go Windsurfing?

The course provides all equipment that you will need, wetsuits, bouyancy aid and spray jacket - except shoes.

You will need to provide shoes that can get wet (training shoes or pumps will do) and a towel. The club has lockable changing rooms and hot showers. Teas and coffees can be purchased at the club. There's no food available so please bring your own.

The course runs from 13:00 - 16:00 but please arrive by 12:30 to allow time to register and change.

A parent or guardian will need to remain on site for the duration of the course for all under 16's.

How Much Will it Cost?

The course costs £50 for the public and £40 for BCYC members.

Refunds

If we have to cancel for any reason a full refund will be given or alternative session provided.

You can cancel up to 30 days before the event. Note refund will be minus Eventbrite fees.
