The RYA Day Skipper Theory Course is an essential 40 hour navigation course that teaches you the basics of coastal and inshore navigation by daylight and pilotage including chart-work, position fixing, plotting a course to steer, weather forecasting, and a knowledge of tides and the International Regulations for Prevention of Collision at Sea (IRPCS). It is the pre-requisite level of navigation required to prepare you for the RYA Day Skipper Practical course.

5 Days over five consecutive Saturdays starting on February 9th 2019 (9th, 16th, 23rd Feb, 2nd, 9th March)

The Course starts at 09:00 and ends at 17:00 each saturday

The Cost of the Course is £250 - Booked Online

In Addition each student will require a plotter and divider set which is offered at cost for around £25

The opportunity to do the day skipper practical in the spring will be offered. This is important as it enables people to apply for their ICC - essential if chartering.
