RYA Rules Webinar available on Youtube

The RYA will be hosting a series of free webinars for racing sailors and aspiring race officials to introduce and explain the racing rules of sailing.

Whether you are your club's rules expert, a squad sailor or just want to know a bit more, the six-week series will guide you through the racing rules to give you the best advantage on the race course.

The sessions will be delivered by some of the top names in the world of racing rules including British Sailing Team coach and strategist Mark Rushall, World Sailing Governance and Rules Consultant Jon Napier and Tokyo 2020 video umpire Chris Lindsay.If you have not yet been able to watch the session it is now available on our YouTube channel. You can find the link to the session and the answers to the questions raised during the session on our Racing Rules Series page which can be found on www.rya.org.uk/racingrules

The RYA have taken all your comments on board and have reviewed how they are delivering the remainder of the series to enable us to ensure that the sessions are available to all and of the best possible quality. They believe that the best way to do this is by pre-recording the sessions and then releasing them direct to the RYA's YouTube Channel rather than trying to use GoToWebinar.

All future sessions will be released at 8pm on Wednesdays on the Racing Rules Series Playlist on they RYA YouTube channel and will have subtitles. Presenters will be online when each session is premiered to try and answer any questions raised in the live chat and further information may be provided in future sessions.
