Dinghy Sailing
BCYC offers some of the best dinghy sailing in the South West. Our reservoir offers a safe environment to sail for everyone from complete beginners through to National Champions (and we have a few of those!). Sailing is available the year round, with organised sailing on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays where safety boats are on the water. Sailing other days is available if you sign up to a 'buddy Group'.
Sailing courses for both juniors and adults are available to both members and non-members.
Casual sailing is often done on a Saturday with racing taking place on Wednesdays and Sundays, but you can casual sail even on race days!
BCYC is a popular location for dinghy 'Open meetings' and Championship events for classes such as Enterprise, RS, Solo & ILCA, plus others.
